Trinity Pooler Church & Preschool

Our program supports and encourages each child's social, emotional, spiritual, cognitive, and physical development. Each classroom is designed with age and developmentally appropriate supplies, furniture, and learning centers to allow children to learn through experience and play. We look upon each child and their family as part of our family at Trinity. If we can ever be of service to you or your family, do not hesitate to call.

We offer classes for children 2 through Pre-K. The age cutoff is September 1st (meaning that a student must be the qualifying age by September 1st of 2023 for the 2023-2024 school year).

We have 2-day, 3-day and 5-day class options for ages 2-3. All Pre-K classes meet 5 days.

  • Mrs. Joana, teacher-2's

I am originally from Portugual and received my teaching degree there where I also taught preschool for nine years. In the United States, I taught two years at Growing in the Son and this is now my third year with Trinity.

After marrying my husband Joel in April of 2010, I moved to the United States. We have four amazing children Charlotte (12), twins Caroline and Catherine (9), and Cole (6). We also have two dogs, Chloe (a Maltese) and Bia (a mini pincher).

As a family we enjoy visiting and exploring different places and escaping to the mountains when we can.

  • Mrs. Laura, teacher-Prek

I am a New Jersey native who now calls Guyton home. I am married to my husband Steve and have two sons, Nathan and Hudson. I have my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education, and I am currently pursuing my Masters. In my spare time I love floating in our pool, crafting, and spending time with my family. I am looking forward to an amazing year.

Some of my favorite things are Diet Dr. Pepper, Dunkin Donuts, Chick-fil-a, shopping at Hobby Lobby and Amazon, the NY Giants, and going to the beach.

  • Mrs. Candace Kosloske, director

I grew up on a farm in northwest Indiana and studied English and Secondary Education at Purdue University before marrying my high school sweetheart, Jason, and moving with him to Kansas due to his aircraft profession.

After teaching high school English for 10 years, I left teaching to stay home with my two daughters, Amelia and Emerson, and eventually moved to Georgia. With both girls in school, I began working in various administrative roles at Trinity while my girls both attended preschool here before taking on the preschool director role in the winter of 2021.

I enjoy hiking, cooking, reading, and anything crafty. I love animals and nature.

I never imagined myself moving from teaching high school all the way down to preschool, but it has truly been my calling. You have to do what you love and love what you do. There is nothing better than being surrounded by these sweet kids each day learning and playing.

  • Mrs. Gayle, teacher-prek

I have been teaching PreK at Trinity for 17 years. I went to Armstrong State College for my Associates in Early Childhood Education. I feel blessed to be able to love on my class familym prepare them for Kindergartenl ajd teach them about the Lord.

My favorite this about teaching is seeing each child figure out how to succeed at each task and then be proud for achieving that goal.

I grew up in Port Wentworth, GA and am the youngest of three girls. I have been married to my husband, Kerry, for 39 years. We have two grown daughters, Kasey and Kayla.

Kasey and her family (Ross, Isaiah, and Brynn) are missionaries and live in Romania. Kayla and her family (Steve, Dallas, and Maddox) live in Rincon.

I enjoy reading, singing, collecting Christmas ornaments and aprons from other countries. Christmas is my favorite season because of the festive feeling and the birth of Jesus.

My goal each year is to love each child, help them see they are important and valued, and to teach them to stand up for themselves. I want them to have a voice and be heard because what they think and feel is important.
