We Are Trinity POoler

Welcome to Trinity Pooler!  We are a church that has been transforming lives, and touching hearts, for over a century here in the heart of Pooler.  We are the kind of church you probably grew up in.  A church where people know you by name, and miss you when you are not there.  A place to call home whether you are married, single, divorced or have a family.

We are a place that loves to worship.  On Sunday mornings there are two options:  At 8:30 there’s a 30 minute laid back praise and worship service in our Social Hall, followed by coffee and snacks.  Then, at 10:30 there’s a great blending of hymns and praise choruses, complete with a choir, organist and pianist.

Trinity Pooler is a place where solid Biblical teaching is its hallmark.  From Sunday school for all ages, to Bible studies for women and men, we want to help people grow in their knowledge and obedience to God and His word.  Hebrews 4:12 says that the “Word of God is living and active…”, 2 Timothy 3:16 adds that “All scripture is God breathed…”, that’s why studying God’s word is important.

Wednesday nights during the school year are our mid-week refueling time where we have learning opportunities for all ages.  Not to mention a great fellowship meal.  Where else can you eat for $5 in Pooler?

Trinity Pooler is a place where serving our community is a priority, and an important part of who we are.  Whether it’s cooking meals at the Ronald McDonald House, or delivering 20 gallons of soup and 20 dozen sandwiches to the Savannah Inner City Mission, we love to serve.  We also bring groceries to shut-ins, visit the elderly in nursing homes and play chess and tutor at Pooler Elementary just a few blocks from our church.

Trinity Pooler is an active place.  Whether it’s our vibrant preschool, or our dynamic children’s ministry, we want everyone to know that we value children and families.  Jesus said “Let the little children come to Me and do not hinder them for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven” Matthew 19:14. We don’t just believe that, we live it.

We like to say that our priorities are; “God-Family-Friends” and that our mission is: “Serving together in Jesus’ name.”  If you long to be a part of a church that wants to be your home, then come join us at Trinity Pooler.  We know that you will feel welcome!

Dear Parents,

We are so excited that you have chosen to bring your children to Trinity Pooler's "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything" VBS on June 2nd-6th (Sun-Thurs). We wanted to give you a head's up about a few things you will need to know as VBS week approaches:

1). We have a fun filled week planned for your children, and we want to make sure they get the most out of their time with us. VBS is scheduled from 5:30-8:00 pm. We will open drop off each night at 5:15 pm, and we would like all participants to be ready to start at 5:30 pm.

2). At the end of each evening, we are so excited to be able to share with YOU and with your children what we are learning each day. We invite and encourage parents to join us in the worship center at 7:40 pm for our Yo Ho Ho Closing Show where the students will get to show off what they have learned that day. When the show is over, we will release your children into your care.

3). During the week, your students will be participating in many exciting stations such as games, science, and crafts. One craft is going to be making their own tie dye t-shirt. We are asking that on Sunday, every student brings a white t-shirt that can be tie dyed. Please be sure to label your child's t-shirt with their name.

4). The final item we wanted to make you aware of is that each night during VBS we are asking for your help to "Fill Our Ship". We are going to be collecting non-perishable items for out Brown Bag ministry at Trinity Pooler.

Sunday: Peanut Butter & Jelly (18 oz or smaller)

Monday: Canned tuna or chicken

Tuesday: Canned fruit or Jiffy cornbread mix

Wednesday: Chef Boyardee or Mac & Cheese

Thursday: Cup O' Noodles or Spaghetti sauce

These donations will be used to help make bags that are given out to the 15-20 families in need that we serve on a monthly basis. If you have any questions, please contact the church office at info@trinitypooler.org or call us at 912-748-4141. We thank you again for signing up for VBS at Trinity Pooler, and we look forward to seeing you on the high seas!

Safe sanctuary

All of our adult volunteers must be Safe Sanctuary Certified and pass a background check. In order to become Safe Sanctuary Certified, you must first watch the video below, and then email the office at info@trinitypooler.org stating that you have done so. Following the completion of the video, you will be given a short form to fill out, and we will then complete your background check. We appreciate all of our volunteers and their willingness to help us keep our church and children a safe place for all.

God has great plans for you!

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:11-13.
